DEEPAVALI FESTIVE GIVE-AWAY, A COLLABORATION BETWEEN KK SUPER MART AND NGO BODIES

In conjunction with the Deepavali festive season this
year, KK SUPER MART being honoured to collaborate with two Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs) bodies namely Selangor & Federal Territory Malayalee Society
(SFTMA) and Sevai Ashram Foundation Malaysia, in the effort to channel the goody bags
give-away to the low-middle income communities.

Under the Deepavali Feeding Program, KK SUPER MART collaborated with the Selangor &
Federal Territory Malayalee Society (SFTMA) in providing give-away goody bags to 20
Hindu families in which the Ministry of Rural Development made the selection. Each family
received the necessities of food such as rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, biscuits, instant
noodles, series of drinks and many more. Although the number of beneficiaries is small but
is to ease the burden to make preparations whilst rejoicing Deepavali celebration. Besides,
SFTMA also took the initiative to giveaway brand new colourful sarees as well as a collection
of various clothing donated from good hearted donors. Also present were Corporate Affairs
Manager, Mrs.Siti Zahilda & President of SFTMA, Mrs.Hilda Alposilva.

At Ampang General Hospital where KK SUPER MART with the collaboration of Sevai
Ashram Foundation Malaysia giving-away 330 goody bags containing the same necessities
of food for patients regardless of age, race and religion. The distribution is made to more
than 8 wards which included Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Operations, Haematology and
Paediatric wards. Also present were Group General Manager, Mr. Tee Kok Hiem of KK
Group of Companies and Founder & Honourable Advisor Seri Ramaji of Sevai Ashram
Foundation Malaysia.

KK SUPER MART is always concerned about the involvement of community. Corporate
social responsibility is always accentuating by the company not only during the festive
seasons but also supporting other NGOs, Public Housing Program (PPR) and charitable
organisations when organizing charity activities. Schools of disabled, universities, orphanage
homes, old folks& homes and homes of ex-convict being the company main focus of charity.
