DEEPAVALI: KK SUPER MART BRINGS JOY TO THE NEEDY
KK SUPER MART CONTINUE TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY
KUALA LUMPUR, PPR RAYA PERMAI – In conjunction of Deepavali, KK SUPER MART has provided 100 boxes of daily supplies for Persatuan Kebajikan Warga Emas & Ibu Tunggal Ros Bahagia Kuala Lumpur. This event happens on 16 October 2022 at PPR Raya Permai, Sungai Besi Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of organizing this event mainly to reduce the cost of expenses of the community, especially the B40 group of people that always a concern for all parties.
The essential daily supplies including 5kg of rice, mihun, canned milk, canned sardine, biscuit, salt and many more. DBKL also pay their concern towards the group of senior citizen and single mother where they had prepared a tea time for them at the parking lot PPR Raya Permai.
According to the Senior Manager Business Operation Control of KK SUPER MART Mr. Steven Lee, “KK SUPER MART will always ready to help those in needed no matter its pandemic season or having natural disaster such as flood. We will assist whoever that suffer regardless race or religion. We hope that this kind of aid happens to cheer up and being meaningful for the resident in PPR Raya Permai to celebrate the coming Deepavali.”
He also appreciates for those who attend the event that support and believe in KK SUPER MART and hopefully this event could increase the relationship bond within the people and KK SUPER MART itself.
In addition, the President of MIC Bandar Tun Razak, Datuk Vijaymohan Karuppiah along with the President of Resident Association Mr. Nasir as well as the President of KRT also attended the event to show empathy to the senior citizens and single mothers.
KK SUPER MART has their 21 anniversary dinner at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) at 1 October early this month. Over 2100 guests including the staffs and family under KK Supermart Group of Companies attended the anniversary dinner to witness the historical moment. KK SUPER MART now has more than 642 outlets all around in Malaysia and commit to create more Corporate Social Responsibility events for the people and community.
