KK Mart has ventured into new waters, stepping into the shopping mall arena. From opening its first F&B corner at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), its first LRT KK Mart at Muhibbah LRT Station, and now its first full concept store-in-a-mall at The Mines Shopping Mall – growing the orangey KK Mart concept. Customers now have a one-stop convenient store that offers groceries to-go and an F&B area to enjoy ice-cream, coffee, ready-to-eat snacks, popcorn, sandwiches and more in a cozy environment depicting warm lighting and dark wooden tones.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the store. Officiating the event were KK Supermart and Superstores Sdn Bhd founder and executive chairman Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai, Ministry of Domestic Trade Co-operatives and Consumerism deputy secretary-general Datuk Basaruddin Sadali, along with various representatives of the mall, the ministry and the KK Group of Companies.
