21st Anniversary Celebration of KK Group of Companies

 

KUALA LUMPUR, 1 OCTOBER 2022 – Two decades have passed and it turns out that the KK Super Mart Group of Companies continues to excel in Malaysia. Celebrating their 21st anniversary today with the success of owning 636 KK SUPER MART Outlets proves that anyone can fight successfully if you have the right plan. Choosing the date 1 October 2022 to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, the Founder of KK SUPER MART, Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai celebrated this historic day with 2100 guests consisting of staff, family members, business media and also invited guests.

16 January 2001 is a sacred date behind the mark KK SUPER MART. Located at Jalan Kuchai Lama in Kuala Lumpur, the story of the family-owned grocery store began. Equipped with solid knowledge and passion, they opened one store after another, giving us hope that there is still a long way to go in the retail industry if you have the right strategy. In 2012, the 100th store was opened and in 2020, the 500th KK SUPER MART store became a milestone. Today, the people behind KK SUPER MART can smile but not forget by continuing to honour the KK SUPER MART brand in the local and international market. Now, on October 1, 2022, with 636 KK SUPER MART outlets is something to be proud of.

Building a business is not an easy thing. Recalling the journey of KK SUPER MART throughout these 21 years, Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai said the success achieved today is the result of strong support from staff, business partners, suppliers, the media, government and non-government agencies. Nevertheless, this support is meaningless without emphasizing the company’s core values ​​of teamwork, integrity, tolerance, fighting spirit, family and tradition. “We are united, No one is left behind.” that is the slogan we always fight for in bringing the direction of our company so that KK SUPER MART is determined to provide the best service and supply quality products to customers.”, he said again.

Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai added on “Convenience stores are already an integral part of modern cities. Based on the number of convenience stores in US, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan compared with the population of their countries, it stated that the market penetration rate of convenience stores in those countries are relatively high. An average of 1 Convenience Store catering  to 2,100 Americans, 2200 Japanese & 1250 South Korean. Looking at the statistics, 32 million Malaysians should demand at least 16,000 convenience stores. With the current total storefronts of around 5,000 in Malaysia now, opportunities for large-scale growth are still prominent.”

As part of its 21st anniversary celebrations, KK SUPER MART does not disappoint its customers. Throughout the year, various activities and programs are held to make customers feel appreciated. Recently, the RM1 Million Spend & Win Contest saw incredible participation from customers. This proves that the KK SUPER MART brand has succeeded in winning the hearts of customers and becoming a well-known brand comparable to other big brands in the retail industry.

Datuk Seri recalled the announcement on 9th July 2022,  KK Group signed off with GS25, one of the leading South Korean Convenience store chains with more than 16,000 outlets in South Korea.  The combination of KK experiences on distribution, operation and market understanding and coupled with the franchise know-how of GS25, we are aiming to open 500 GS2 Convenience Store in Malaysia within 5 years confidently. With this relevant model, we believe that it will help the young generation to start their own business & their career path under the guidance of KK Super Mart with GS25.

Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai wish to list KK Super Mart on Bursa Malaysia within the next two years, to expand our pool of resources, to fulfill our ultimate social responsibilities, and contribute more to the community and the country.

Kumpulan Syarikat KK Meraikan Sambutan Ulang Tahun Ke-21

KUALA LUMPUR, 1 OKTOBER 2022Dua dekad telah berlalu dan ternyata Kumpulan Syarikat KK Super Mart terus unggul di Malaysia.  Menyambut ulangtahun ke-21 pada hari ini dengan kejayaan memiliki 636 Outlet KK SUPER MART ternyata membuktikan sesiapa sahaja boleh berjaya jika mampu bertahan mengharungi cabaran disusuli dengan perancangan yang betul. Memilih tanggal 1 Oktober 2022 bertempat di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur, Pengasas KK SUPER MART, Datuk Seri Dr.KK Chai meraikan hari bersejarah ini bersama 2100 tetamu yang terdiri daripada kakitangan, ahli keluarga, pihak media,  rakan perniagaan dan juga tetamu jemputan.

16 Januari 2001 merupakan tarikh keramat di sebalik jenama KK SUPER MART.  Di Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur disitulah permulaan kisah perniagaan keluarga menguruskan kedai runcit.   Berbekalkan ilmu dan semangat yang kental, pembukaan kedai demi kedai memberi harapan bahawa perjalanan dalam industri peruncitan masih luas untuk diterokai jika mempunyai strategi yang betul. Ternyata tidak mengecewakan.  Outlet ke-100 dibuka pada tahun 2012 dan pada tahun 2020, Outlet KK SUPER MART ke-500 menjadi mercu kejayaan.  Hari ini individu-individu  di sebalik KK SUPER MART mampu tersenyum namun tidak alpa dengan terus memartabatkan jenama KK SUPER MART di pasaran tempatan dan antarabangsa. Kini, 636 Outlet KK SUPER MART pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2022 sesuatu yang boleh dibanggakan. 

Membina sebuah perniagaan bukanlah satu perkara mudah apatah lagi mengekalkannya. Mengimbau perjalanan KK SUPER MART sepanjang 21 tahun ini, Datuk Seri Dr.KK Chai  berkata kejayaan yang dikecapi hari ini adalah hasil daripada sokongan padu dari kakitangan, rakan perniagaan, pembekal, pihak media, kerajaan dan agensi bukan kerajaan.  Namun sokongan ini tidak bermakna tanpa menekankan nilai teras syarikat utama iaitu kerja berpasukan, integriti, toleransi, semangat berjuang, keluarga dan tradisi.  “Kami Bersatu , Tiada Siapa Ketinggalan, itulah slogan yang sentiasa kami perjuangkan dalam membawa hala tuju syarikat kami agar KK SUPER MART tekad memberi perkhidmatan terbaik dan membekalkan produk berkualiti kepada pelanggan.”, ujarnya lagi.

Sejajar dengan sambutan ulangtahun ke-21, KK SUPER MART tidak menghampakan pelanggan.   Sepanjang tahun beberapa aktiviti dan program diadakan dengan tujuan pelanggan rasa dihargai. (吉隆坡1日讯)KK集团创办人兼执行主席拿督斯里蔡志权博士在KK集团21週年晚宴上指出,以欧美日韩等国的便利店市场供需情况看来,大马便利店行业的市场,充满发展濳力。

他说,调查显示,发达国家平均每2000人口对比1间便利店,因此以大马3200万人口来算,便需要至少16000间便利店才能应付市场需求;而目前大马市面上仅有约5000间各品牌便利店。

根据数据,在美国每间便利店服务2100人;日本则是12200,及韩国则是11250

他指出,KK集团至今已拥有636间分店,而且业务仍在继续扩充及攀向另一个高峰,并且期望服务更多的社群、人民,为国家发展作出贡献。

包括我们曾于79日宣布,KK集团将会与在韩国拥有多达16000间分店的零售巨头GS25合作,在未来5年内于大马开设500间连锁经营的便利店;同时也打造更好的创业平台,以便造就更多机会给有理想有热诚的年轻企业家,为国家的经济大环境贡献一分力量。
 他的理想,是KK集团能够在未来2年上市,以便更加全面地发展为一家能够充分履行社会责任,为社会贡献的企业。

针对即将在国会提呈的2023年财政预算案,蔡志权建议,政府应该以更高的视角看待如何协助国家走出眼前的困境,以便国内的企业可以持续生存,以商为本,以民为先,以商养民,让企业商家负起责任,为人民提供就业机会,为人民提供持续性的收入。

政府在财政预算案中,提供更多到位及有力的援助配套给中小型企业,如扣税措施,税务减免奖掖,薪金补贴,水电费援助等.这是为了让中小型企业可以在眼前的逆境中生存下来,避免可能发生的严重倒闭潮,重创国家经济。
 
他说,各行各业缺乏人力资源已经不是秘密,疫情之后大量的外籍员工,因为各种因素离开马来西亚,离开他们的工作岗位.现在,不管是制造业,服务业,农业,饮食业等,都同样面对缺乏员工的困境,政府需要加速处理这个问题,包括简化一切程序, 认真地执行有效的引进外来员工政策。
首相日前向中国提议希望他们加快开放国门, 让中国老百姓可以出游 ,就是一个非常恰当及合适的要求,我也希望旅游部可以扮演重要的角色; 而明年是一个补办大马旅游年的好时机, 因大马旅游年可以为国家带来1000亿的收入, 在目前这个全球经济低迷的时刻,将是对我国经济重要的强心针。
